Greetings from the LACCC Chair, Edith Valladares McElroy

Dear members,

As the new Board Chair of the Latin American of Commerce of Charlotte, I would like to share some personal information and my vision of the future of our organization. I have served on the board of directors of the LACCC since 2006. During this term, I have held the positions of Treasurer and Co-Chair. I have been chair of the education and events committees. As an educator, I believe that the best way to advocate for our members and the community of Charlotte is through education. I plan to continue and strengthen our partnerships with CPCC and its Institute for Entrepreneurship and other agencies and organizations that offer educational opportunities for our members.

Through our membership with the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we will keep you all informed of businesses opportunities and ways of staying connected with other business in the region and in the United States. The LACCC will keep promoting and advocating for our members, as has been our tradition, and make sure that our members have the opportunity to voice their concerns and needs, so we can address them.

In the near future, I plan to contact you about what you think our organization can do for you and let you know how you can get involved. I encourage you to check our calendar and participate in our events. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
