20 Mar Tapas Networking Event – Energizando Charlotte!
Every month the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte organizes networking events to bring together the Latino and Non-Latino business community. We focus on promoting small businesses and corporations that are interested in expanding their offerings to the Latino community.
– Chima Steakhouse –
Chima Charlotte Steakhouse offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Its name derives from the Chimarrao, a traditional drink from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolises hospitality and friendship.
This traditional food comes from South Brazil, where the Gauchos (Cowboys) consumed a diet that consisted almost entirely of beef. The meat was seasoned, placed on skewers, and slow cooked over a wood burning flame.
The first Chima restaurant is original from Uberlandia, Brazil. In 2004, this new style of dining and superior service arrived to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and expanded to Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.
Tony Quiroz, Chima’s Brand Ambassador, talked about their superior service and promoted the different options that they provide for small to big events like family or corporate reunions in private rooms and with a capacity of almost 150 guests.
An excellent choice for this Graduations Season.

Also during the event we had the opportunity to hear some words from Coonie Roseborough, Novant Health‘s HR and Recruitment Department, who talked about the job opportunities that they have for the Latin American Community in Charlotte. Not only in the medical area but also in IT, Management and other areas.
As for the raffles we had 4 Chima’s $25 gift cards and 2 sets of 4 tickets for the “16th annual Dances of India” featuring the internationally acclaimed performer and choreographer Dr. Maha Gingrich and group on Saturday, April 21st, 2018.
