Jose Espaillat – Wells Fargo Advisors
Jose joins Wells Fargo Advisors as a Diverse Client Segments, Leader where he will works directly with financial advisors with a key business focus in the Hispanic segment. Jose will be responsible for providing guidance and strategic direction for advisors looking to prospect or deepen relationships with existing Hispanic clients, as well as for managers who hope to grow and retain the Hispanic Financial Advisor population in their branches. Most recently, Jose served as a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed but since 2008, he has been working with and educating individuals, families and small businesses to help increase their confidence in their financial decisions. From his experience as a high school teacher and football coach, Jose has developed a special talent for translating complex financial issues into simple, understandable concepts and creating an action plan to help meet individual objectives. Jose’s business philosophy is to always give first. His focus is serving his clients by creating comprehensive financial strategies that help them pursue their goals.
Jose earned his B.S. degree from Wingate University in 2001. In addition to his Series 7 & 66 licenses, he holds insurance licenses for Life, Health and Long Term Care.
A balanced life is the essence of happiness. As such, Jose is proud to serve many local non-profits and uses free time to volunteer and be involved in community service organizations such as Camino Community Center, Metrolina Association for the Blind, Matthews Athletic & Recreation Association (where he helps coach his daughters’ softball teams) and Yguides.
Family is the core of Jose’s life. He and his wife Kelli, along with his daughters Nevaeh and Josi live in Matthews, North Carolina. They enjoy things like hiking, camping, traveling and cheering on their beloved New York Giants.
